The AMAs outs created by Dick Clark in 1973.OsGrammys moved from ABC to CBS station in 1972, which meant that ABC felt the need to create a new award to compete with the Grammys.
The 2011 American Music Awards will be held tomorrow, November 20th, at the Nokia Theatrein Los Angeles. The award recognizes the most popular artists of 2011. The nominees were announced on 11 October 2011. In Brazil, the awards will be broadcast live with simultaneous translation in the closed channel TNT.
